Vishnu Shankar, DDS
Dr. Vishnu Shankar is a caring, experienced dental professional who believes in being a careful listener & getting to know each patient as an individual so he can provide the best personalized dental care possible.
Dr. Shankar earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry with an award for outstanding performance in oral surgery in 1991. He is dedicated to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, & he has taken numerous continuing education courses, including those in surgical & prosthetic (implant) dentistry, OSHA safety, full-arch implant restorations, CEREC® same-day crowns & CAD-CAM dentistry. He is also certified to provide Invisalign® clear braces.
Outside the office, Dr. Shankar has a love of nature. He enjoys hiking, fishing, biking, gardening, coaching soccer & giving back to his community. As a faculty member of the University of the Pacific, he conducted an outreach program with dental students to perform dentistry in Fiji. He has also provided dental screenings to seniors in the community.
